What is disclosure?

Disclosure is the obligation to inform the other party about the documents relevant to the case, those on which you intend to reply and those you are required by the court to disclose.

Which documents do I need to disclose?

• support you case
• undermine or oppose your case, and
• those which support the other side's case

How should I set out the documents for the court?

• documents you have and will let the other party inspect
• documents you have but object to the defendant inspecting, and
• documents you no longer have

How do I disclose my documents?

Once you have completed the disclosure form you should a copy to the other party by the date given by the judge in the directions. The other party must do the same.
